This system automatically activates and releases the locks when your door is closed, keeping it secure from intruders without the need to use the key. AutoLock AV3 is police Secured By Design (SBD), PAS 24, SKG and VdS accredited and recommended by the Crime Investigation Department.This system is ideal for contemporary doors with or without handles and can be used for single and double doors.

Weather-tightness: The weatherseal hook holds the door even more firmly onto the frame, further reducing any chances of draught which could lead to premature distortion of the door.

Two self-locking hooks: Firstly, the large nickel plated steel hooks automatically extend without pressure and without turning the key and firmly hook onto the heavy duty steel keeps, located in the frame, when the door is shut. These sturdy hooks help prevent forcing apart the door from the frame.Secondly, a smaller weatherseal hook holds the door even more tightly into position, helping reduce aging caused by outside conditions. The locking system has been designed to allow for the door to open smoothly without applying much strength.

The central magnetic trigger: A central magnetic trigger located in the frame only engages the hook when the door is flush with the frame, giving instant security. This removes any chance of scratching the frame when pushing the door to shut it.

High quality products: The high performance gearbox mechanism has been tested to 100,000 cycles and it offers the lowest possible operating forces. The locks and keeps have a protective surface coating with a ‘very high corrosion resistance’ which exceeding the requirements of EN 1670: 2007 Grade 4.

Smart systems: A motor can be added to connect the lock to the BlueMatic AV3-E system to open the door remotely or with fingerprints, or to connect it to other access control systems with intercom…

Holiday Lockout function: The main deadbolt can be activated with the key to lock the door, preventing the handle from opening from the inside. This stops intruders from opening the front door from the inside for a quick exit.

Flexibility: A single-handed daytime latch can be added to the centre keep, to easily open the door from the outside without a key. This allows for temporary, facilitated entry and exit, a practical solution when bringing the shopping in for example. Winkhaus is the only manufacturer of automatic multipoint locks to include both a double hook and a daytime latch in one system.

Entryguard function: This optional deadbolt security system allows a person inside the house to slightly open the door, knowing that they are safe from someone on the outside trying to push their way in. The system can be released from the inside with a knob, or both from both sides with the key.
